A lovable quadricycle and a robust lightweight pioneer are among the bargain chargeables.
With some reaching speeds of 78mph and with one car boasting a 323 mile range, what’s not to like?

The DoGood Zero is more a four wheeled e-bike than an electric car, with a top speed of 28mph.

At just 2.5 metres long and 120cm wide, mini motor takes up just a quarter of a standard parking space, making it the perfect city-mobile.
What’s more, it boasts all the mod cons of a new car including: a sunroof, remote key, one-button start, reverse camera, LED lights, LCD screen, speaker, radio, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Citreon Ami
The Citreon Ami is not technically a car[/caption]The Citroen Ami may be many things, but it is not a car.
It is actually designated as a quadricycle, swerving a host of regulations needed to be classed as proper car.
The two-seater looks just like a car inside though, with sleek leather and plastic upholstery and funky fittings.
Featuring a button gear stick of drive, neutral and reverse, the Ami can hit speeds of up to 28mph.
The quadricycle has a range of 47 miles on its 5.5kWh battery which should be enough to whizz you around a city.
With prices starting from just £7,695 and a full charge costing £2, this little beast is sure to turn heads at the show room.
Dacia Spring
With a large 308 litre boot, you don’t need to worry about squeezing all your stuff into the Dacia Spring[/caption]Setting you back £14,995, the Dacia Spring is the Romanian car giant’s latest EV offering.
Charging time between 20 and 80 percent is just 45 minutes and a full charge will take you 137 miles.
Hitting speeds of nearly 78mph, the five-door all electric wonder boasts four full-sized seats and plush interiors.
With a large 308 litre boot, you don’t need to worry about squeezing all your stuff in either.
Other fun specs are a customisable digital dashboard featuring 7-inch instrument display and central 10-inch multimedia display.
It even has a multi-purpose cup holder which transforms into a secret cubby hole to stash snacks and drinks.
Those lured by the Dacia Spring can also enjoy USB connectivity, cruise control, central locking, parking sensors, and air conditioning
Vauxhall Corsa Electric
The new Vuaxhall Corsa Electric has clearly failed to disappoint, becoming one of Britain’s best-selling cars.
A full charge can take you 246 miles, the distance from London to Exeter.
A typical flat to 80 per cent on a 100kW rapid charger will be done in just 30 minutes.
The top of the range model will hit 0-62,ph in 8.2 seconds.
Prices start at £32,390.
MG4 EV
The MG4 EV can charge from 10 – 80 percent in as little as 35 minutes[/caption]The MG 4 EV boasts up to 323 miles of electric range and two battery options.
Standard features include a 10.25″ colour touchscreen with Apple CarPIayTM and Android AutoTM, MG iSMART app connectivity, and MG Pilot suite of driver assistance systems.
The MG4 EV can charge from 10 – 80 percent in as little as 35 minutes.
The entry-level model is called the SE and gets a 50.8kWh battery with an official range of 218 miles.
It is said to cover 0-62mph in 7.7 seconds.
The Long Range version has a more powerful 201bhp electric motor, a 61.7kWh battery and can smash out 281 miles of road on a full charge.
Prices start at just under £27,000.
Fiat 500
Prices for the new Fiat 500 EV start at £27,590[/caption]The iconic Fiat model now comes in a bigger, electric version.
You’ll get up to 199 miles on a full charge with the big battery option.
But just a 15 minute charge will take you 100 miles.
And at 0-62mph in nine seconds, what’s not to like.
