A SEVEN-year-old boy has died following a crash between a lorry and a car on the M4.
Four others in the silver Volkswagen Polo were rushed to hospital following yesterday’s tragedy near Bristol.
A seven-year-old boy has been killed following a crash between a lorry and car on the M4[/caption]Emergency services, including two air ambulances, rushed to the westbound carriageway between junctions 18 and 19, at around 1pm.
Despite their best efforts, the boy died at the scene.
The lorry was carrying hay bales when it collided with the car.
The four survivors’ injuries aren’t believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
Two of them have been discharged.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with his family and they continue to be supported by a specially-trained officer.
“No arrests have been made in connection with the investigation into the collision.”
